AOL has a default setting in their web browses to compress images and will create distortions and poor quality images when it loads it's pages. (According to AOL "it's not a bug, it's a feature")

It appears in a number of ways, from strange colored lines through images to fuzzy pictures, etc.

There are two ways of fixing this:

1) go into your AOL PREFERENCES -> WEB (www or internet) PREFERENCES

and UNCHECK the "use compressed images" box

or...

2) sign on to AOL and then open the latest versions of either Netscape or Internet Explorer to surf the web.

If you are viewing my site or anyone else's through AOL, just realize that the quality of the actual images are much better then what you are seeing. Only AOL can fix this, and they choose not to.
